Beautiful lilac beads made from frosted glass which glow as they catch the light hang from handmade silver ear wires. The bead is held in place by the circle at the bottom of the ear wire.
Measurements
Glass beads are approximately 13mm in diameter.
Ear wires are 45mm in long and 15mm wide.
What are the discs and earrings made from?
The beads are made from borosilicate glass. The earrings are made from 0.8mm Argentium 940 silver which does not tarnish and has a higher silver content that sterling silver. This makes ear wires which are comfortable and light to wear.
How are these earrings made?
We start by making the discs,winding glass round a steel rod to create the shape. Discs are hand made one at a time using a lampwork torch, so each and every one is unique. The discs are then annealed to ensure strength and durability before being tumble etched for a frosted finish. and added to the hoops.
The ear wires are made by bending and soldering Argentium silver wire.

Care For Your Jewellery
Argentium silver does not tarnish like sterling silver. It can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Glass can be cleaned with soap and water and polished with a soft cloth.
