Frosted Pink Ball Charm Stainless Steel Necklace

A tiny ball made from pink frosted glass hung from three jump rings and a stainless steel chain making a necklace you'll enjoy wearing every day. Inspired by time spent on the beach, the glass charm has a sea glass like finish.

The glass ball is made with transparent red glass  When the charm is tumble etched the glass develops a frosted finish.

Measurements

The glass ball measures approximately 8mm in diameter and is 10mm high including the small hanging loop.  The charm hangs on a 5mm jump ring, which then hangs from another two 5mm jump rings.The whole pendant is 18mm long. A 45cm (18 inch) stainless steel trace chain passes through the  jump ring. The chain closes with a lobster clasp clasp which fastens through a jump ring.

How is this necklace made?

Creating this piece starts with making the glass charm on a small stainless steel loop. The charm is then tumble etched to give a frosted, sea glass like finish.

What is the necklace made from?

The charm is made from soda lime glass. 

The small loop fused into the glass is stainless steel. The Jump rings, chain and clasp are also stainless steel.

Is it sea glass?

While my jewellery may look like sea glass, each piece is made using lampwork glass techniques. I fuse glass directly onto stainless steel hooks as I create each charm — no drilling, no gluing. The glass is then tumble-etched with grit and sand to achieve a frosted, sea glass-inspired finish. This process ensures the glass is securely attached, even after hours in a rock tumbler.
