Droplet charms allow you to create your own jewellery.
Charms can be clipped onto chains or you can pass a chain through the lobster clasp. This allows you to fix the charm in place or have ir move on the chain.
Droplets made from coloured glass, ivory glass and silver hang from sterling silver lobster clasps.
Measurements
Glass droplets are approximately 10mm in diameter and 15mm long.
Lobster clasps are are 4mm wide and 7mm long.
The charm has total length of around 25mm
What are the charms made from?
The beads are made from soda lime (soft) glass and fine silver which is melted onto small stainless steel hooks.
The lobster clasps are made from sterling silver.
How are these charms made?
We start by making the glass charms on the ends of the stainless steel posts. This fixes the glass securely without the need for drilling or glue. The charms are then annealed to ensure strength and durability. The frosted finish is created by tumbling the charms in a rock tumbler with sand, grit and water. Finally the charms are cleaned, hung on lobster clasps and packed.

Care For Your Jewellery
The best way to care for silver is to keep it in airtight packaging such as the tin it comes in when it’s not being worn. If it does tarnish (which is completely normal) it can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth. Glass can be cleaned with soap and water and polished with a soft cloth.

Jewellery comes packed in a metal gift box. This provides a safe home for your jewellery when it’s not being worn. We also include a leaflet describing the processes and glass used.
